Tough to rate your lot - every time you look like breaking in to the top 10, you go and lose to someone barely in the top 20!

Your last game against Paradise, they'd shown nothing this season up until that point, but they easily outgained you on the field... putting it in context though, they have gone on to push Venice really close, so they ARE a very much improving side.

I swear you better hold that thought cause this is where Brisbane needs to feel bad... my startin QB has given up something like 10 pick 6's this year in all competitions. If my QB doesnt give your defense the Oprah Winfrey christmas bonanza then feel very bad about your team. He's the pick 6 prostitute...

It all goes to show just how close and competitive the 'midfield' of our league has become... it's very hard to call most of the games between teams 6-2 to 2-6... Brisbane, Paradise, Firenze, Gladiators, The Swiss, Monmouth, Nova Gorica, SV, Hameln, and others - all capable of beating each other.

One team who are much better than their record suggests is RGIII. Have a look at their early schedule and try not to shed a tear for the poor sod!!!

ohhhh... I see that. He needed to catch a break against one of those teams and just never did.

You right about the mid-table... its almost about which ever team comes into the game with the best form. And like you said earlier the fact that we're all pretty damn shrewd in our salary caps.. One thing that can help the mid-table teams is to stop turning over the ball in these drafts. the Buffalos.. Leeds.. and Hippos should not be getting anyone near their top 5 selections in the first rd.

Neither Devon nor I wanted to win our game...took 16 minutes of OT for someone to win.

Facing Devon and Hippos four times a season isn't nice but managed to beat Devon once this time!

The RGIII defeat is upsetting but other than the Moors and the Hippos, we are yet to lose by more than a TD. Reckon next year will be the first .500 season we have (depending on schedule.

It's frickin' annoying not being able to work out how good (or bad) we are!

Its a tough division, but Devon's team is full of geriatrics so you'll pass them in 2/3 seasons once retirements take their toll.

NGW are poorer now and we have a new OL on the way. The worst defeat was against you (Moors) but I hadn't save any match settings!

Get there eventually.

#1 (=) Huddersfield Hippos (9-0) - Gave a decent Brisbane team a right pummelling!

#2 (=) Lucea Cardinals (9-0) - The numbers aren't quite what they used to be, but the scorelines remain the same - Lucea lots Opposition not very many.

#3 (=) Solihull Moors (8-1) - bye

#4 (=) Leeds Celtics (8-1) - Bounced back from awful performance to give the Mammoths a hiding. If anything, the 37-6 scoreline flattered Monmouth as Leeds often spluttered in the red zone.

#5 (+2) Gotham City Bats (9-0) - there are question marks over the difficulty of their schedule, but their demolition of SV Furpach was consummate.

#6 (down 1) Monster Piskots (7-2) Needed 2 big plays to dispatch plucky RGIII

#7 (up 1) Naprzod Marsz (7-2) - The Lizards are starting to show some fight, and they made Naprzod really work for this one!

#8 (down 2) Devon Warriors (6-3) - The W's are suffering a bit of mid season blues, the schedule has toughened up are they are starting to show some cracks

#9 (=) Carinthian Cowboys (7-2) - a freakish scoreline given the hiccuping offense of both teams, but they keep on winning

#10 (new) Firenze Fappers (5-4) - A huge win against Devon, can they finally find some consistency?

And just below:
Venice Panthers, Botev Plovdiv (making a huge move up!), Paradise Regained, Gladiators, The Swiss
