OK, let's have a look back.
My original post (only the playoff participants) before the start of the season was: jack6 wrote:

Strike Team -> won the most games in the AC, went #1. Especially the Patriots BOT-dome did grant them an unexpected win. Berinsfield Hornets Went #4 as expected. Skyzo Shenkos -> Sneaked into the playoffs at #6. Main reason for that was the sweep by the Panthers. Muppet Liberation Army -> went at #8 and missed the playoffs. Instead did Bologna got some good upsets and went #5. 4 out of 6, not bad, but the Patriots BOT-dome did change alot. Leverkusen Leopards -> my team went #1, even it did lose 2 times, which I didn't wanted. Winds of Erytheia -> went #2 as expected. Adelaide Crows -> went #4, losses to the Panthers and Pigs were unexpected. SG Speed Merchants -> went BOT, Harrisburg Fire did rise from that conference to #3. Blood Kings -> The Kings did finish at #8 and missed the playoffs. Main reason for that were the sweep by Wasserbube and the loss against the Pigs. Vilbler Wasserbube. Their spot was taken by rge bruisers at #6. -> had a very good season and finished at #5 with one of the best records in the conference. Also 4 out of 6, which is good, but last season I was better. Next does come up the Wildcard Weekend: 2015-01-27 17:00 Wildcard Playoff Burnaby Bruisers vs. Harrisburg Fire Rematch of the division games. Fire did win twice this season and with a homegame I expect them to win again. Neptunes Bologna vs. Berinsfield Hornets Bologna did upset the Hornets this season by 3 points. I expect the Hornets to sting a bit more this time and win. Skyzo Shenkos vs. Panteras Assassinas They haven't played against each other since season 9, so we will see what will happen. I give the Assassinas a small edge here, but this should be close and everything is possible. Vilbler Wasserbube vs. Adelaide Crows For me the highlight of the wildcards. I don't want to be an ass, but I think this are 2 of the top 3 teams in the AC and they already clash in the wildcards. Crows lost on the road by 6 points this season. I pick the Crows for the rematch, but also here, everything is possible. |

Skyzo Shenkos vs. Panteras Assassinas
I have many problems in my defense atm that couldn't be solved in time for this game. I don't see how I can stop Shenkos' offense from scoring a lot. Also, I'll have to take risks in my offense and will hope for some luck without fumbles and interceptions. I'll say that Shenkos is in a better position to win without needing any adjustments on their game planning. I'm going to change many things so I can increase my chances to win, although I will also improve my chances of losing big time and with an huge beating. I prefer to go down fighting. |

With being the last remaining Supercup playing team left did Fire lose last Monday and that way went with low moral into the wildcard game. They were not able to get anything done in the first half and trailed 0-20 at the half. The second half was better, but the Bruisers were able to get enough out of their offense and defense to avoid a comeback.

Shenkos did have long drives and were able to score once in a time, but Assassinas also had their drive, but were stopped, before it could hurt the Shenkos. A few more yards or another 1st down would have shifted here a lot. At the end, the Assassinas were not able to score on a regular basis and Shenkos were able to. Shenkos won.

They won during the season as home team already. The Hornets do have a chance here, but only if the Panthers come out on a bad day. Burnaby Bruisers vs. Leverkusen Leopards -> I'm very confident my team will win here. Bruisers are good, but this should not be an open match. Skyzo Shenkos vs. Strike Team -> this will be the most interesting game in this round. I see them very even and everything can happen. Shenkos won during the season by 4 as guest. In doubt I pick the home team, Strike Team. Vilbler Wasserbube vs. Winds of Erytheia -> Also here, if everything goes normal, this should be a Wasserbube win. They won already during the season and they should be able to repeat. |

I can only talk about my game...
I was very disappointed with my offensive playbook for this game. I thought I would at least have more long passes, but it didn't happen... Maybe I didn't had any chance anyway or maybe I just can't learn this game. About our divisional games: Berinsfield Hornets vs. Paxtang Black Panthers Panthers will win here. It will be an easy win. Burnaby Bruisers vs. Leverkusen Leopards Leopards will win with the higher point difference of this round. Skyzo Shenkos vs. Strike Team Shenkos will win. I don't see how Strike team can fight with such a bad physical condition. In equal circumstances, this would be a close match, but as I see it as it is now, I think will be decided very soon for Shenkos. Vilbler Wasserbube vs. Winds of Erytheia Wasserbube will win, but will be decided just near the end in the 4th quarter. |
