The Blood Kings have sold enough players that they will make it through the season and into next season with a semi-intact roster.

But between that and some playbook experimentation, we have had a much worse than expected season.

We will try to hang around for the playoff spot...

River City Ice went BOT, which will not a that high impact on the playoff spots, but there will be some side effects.

Sad, that another team left.

EDIT: The Broncos did also go BOT.

A shame that River City Ice went BOT - they were the team (in my division) that I could never beat in the old 2.1 days - although my goal was always to catch them and beat them.

This puts me back on my old hobby horse that a) when teams go BOT they should be maintained until the end of season - otherwise some teams are going to get easy wins while others have had to fight tooth and nail; and b) some teams (like Broncos) go BOT because they get promoted too quickly - before they are at a level to cope with their new division.

If everything goes as planned, next season will be better, because new teams will start in level 2 and then all the Dragons-Starters will have to start in parts somewhere else, which will help all the almost empty other regions.

Honestly the best way to achieve parity in leagues would be to allow teams to move from one league to another. The top 32 teams are in the Elite league, the next 64 teams should be in another level, then the following 128 teams in another level... Then everyone would be in a league with teams of a similar level. Having 8 parallel 1.1 leagues with extremely different levels is a bigger problem than Pete thinks. It's like if in the Champions League we had 4 teams from each country regardless of strength, clearly the 4th Dutch or Portuguese team would get destroyed by the 4th EPL team and it'd be no fun for anybody.

The Aliens vs Pigs game did end as clsoe as I expected, but I would have picked the Aliens.
Let's see, if there are consequences.

Still five games to go.

Let's have a look:
AC
AC East
Strike Team
Clearly the co-favorite to win the conference.
Toughest game against the Panthers on the road 2015-06-30.
A week before they play Shenkos, could also be crucial. No change.

Versailles Knights
Jumped to 2nd place and with 240 points better than the Marines the have an advantage here. A playoff spot more or less out of focus with 3 games behind.

Marines
They are now more or less out of the playoffs. 3 games behind now, after 2 losses in a row. Dropped in the division to 3rd place.

Denver Broncos
Went BOT, will relegate.

AC North
Berinsfield Hornets
The Hornets are 5 wins and a mile ahead in wins and points. So congratulation for the division win.
At the moment all spots from #1 to #4 are possible, but I'm still convinced they will get the #3 or #4 spot for the playoffs. It will probably be battled out on 2015-07-07 against Army.

Florida Gators
They are also 3 games behind the #6 spot in the conference.
It looks very unlikely they will get close to that.

Spawn City Killers
Still in rebuilding mode, they fight against relegation. Only 1 game behind the Gators means, they might overcome them, but I doubt it.

The Spartans
Another young team, they will win the BOT game, probably not much more. It might be enough to play a relegation game against one of the BOTs of level 2. No change.

AC South
Muppet Liberation Army
They lost, but are still in the mix for #1 to #4 spot.
They play the Hornets and the Assassinas, so enough potential losses on the way to have them sorted behind Strike Team and the Panthers. The Hornets game will be crucial for #3. They are at the moment 70 PDs behind the Hornets, but will play a BOT at season final. Hornets will play also one in 2 gamedays, so this might even itself out.

Panteras Assassinas
They are on their way for the #6 spot and very likely will make it. They are 3 wins in the lead on 5 remaining games and do have 1 BOT and 2 lower strength teams on the schedule. They are 2 wins and 90 PDs from the 1st place away, which makes it a bit unlikely they will win the division.

srib_bdx
I expected much more of them, but so far they have only 3 wins.
They will probably add 1-2 more. Enough to avoid relegation, but maybe not a relegation game.

HARLEM KINGS
BOT, will relegate.

AC West
Paxtang Black Panthers
They will go for #1 or #2 in the conference.
Crucial games are against Strike Team on 2015-06-30 and Shenkos on 2015-07-04.
If they lose against Shenkos, they might lose the division and will land at #5. They have some points more than Shenkos, which might save them in case of a loss. But Shenkos got an extra BOT game as the Panthers.

Skyzo Shenkos
They will wait for the big game against the Panthers. An extra BOT game eventually correct the PD advantage of the Panthers, who have to play the same BOT at season final.
And a win against them would give Shenkos eventually the division. Otherwise they are more or less bound for #5.

BOIU
The River City BOT-dome did give them a chance to avoid relegation in total.

River City Ice
Went BOT, will relegate.

NC
NC East
Winds of Erytheia
The Winds now have 3 games ahead of the Sentinals and they won't give up that lead. I see at least 3 more wins for them.
Overall it's likely they will get the #3 or #4 playoff spot.
It depends on the other teams, which do have much tougher schedules.

Sentinels
They will lose some more games and will probably end up with a losing record, but still on 2nd place.

Gorillas
I think they will add some more wins to their account, but not many. It will be enough to avoid any relegation games. A jump to 2nd place is very unlikely with 2 games behind.

93ers
I don't see another win in the next future for the 93ers, but maybe that's a good thing, since going down and coming back better and stronger did help many teams before.Just stay patient. No change.

NC North
Adelaide Crows
The Crows did win 2 games since the last review and still have tough games ahead of them. With 2 games ahead inside the division, most crucial ones will be against the Pigs and the Aliens. Win those and the division is won. If they win the division, they will probably get the #4 spot, mabye #3.

Las Pezia Pigs
The Pigs did lose 1 game, but did also won 1 crucial one against the Aliens. Also here, the Aliens and Crows games will be important.
I'm not sure thy can keep the 2nd place.

Torchwood Aliens
The loss against the Pigs did hurt them.
That did hurt the playoff chances a bit, no 1 win behind and los of PDs.
Lucky for them they play some easier teams then the other contenders and so they might make it.
Still, they need to win the Pigs games. That will probably let them jump the Pigs, but we will see that at season final.
A playoff spot is still possible.

Newhouse Eagles
Also a nightmare rest schedule, so the team will probably play for a relegation game against one of the BOTs of level 2. No changes.

NC South
Down Under Devils
The Devils are still leading by 3 wins. With the rest schedule in mind, it's very likely, they will win the divsion and will get #1 or #2 spot in the playoffs. Crucial game will be on last gameday against the King, probably not for the divsion, but for home advantage though the playoffs.

Blood Kings
The Kings are still 3 wins away for the division crown. They play the Crows, Wasserbube and Devils to determain their playoff fate. They are only now at #6 spot, but this lead is slime and with the rest schedule it will get tough. The playoffs got a bit likelier, but still not save.

Vilbler Wasserbube
I know that Maddin is a bit busy at the moment, leaving his team in some kind of winter sleep (more summer sleep). They have a rest schedule with tough games and easy games, so a .500 record is possible. Playoffs are very unlikely, even if the team would give a bit more effort, they would be hard to beat. No changes.

Paris Roosters
The Roosters will need some more time to adjust to the level. They might win 1-2 more games and will probably play for relegation games. No changes.

NC West
Harrisburg Fire
Toughest games will be the last 3 ones, against Devils, Shenkos and Bruisers. I see them win the Bruisers game, the rest will be losses.
Still, they might end up at #1 to #3, depended on the other teams.

Burnaby Bruisers
Believe it or not, but the Bruisers do have even an easier schedule than Fire. So winning the last game against Fire will be the crucial one.
This might give them the division and even a first round bye in the playoffs. Otherwise the will probably get #5 spot.

Peterborough Pirates
I see some more win for them and they might even crack the .500 mark, but they will not make the playoffs. But also no relegation. No change.

Oakland Raiders
BOT team, will relegate.

Yes that was a tough loss especially as we took the early lead. Still I had this marked down as a possible loss - away from home. We need to sharpen up for the rematch which will be on home ground.

I'm confident looking at the 5 remaining games - 3 highly likely wins, 1 probable, 1 possible.

Well yesterday was a power matchup of the Gators and srib/bdx! The first half we were only leading 10-0, but we managed to win 29-7! Our kicker was player of the game after kicking 5 for 5 on fgs and 2 for 2 on PATs. Hopefully we can get the team rolling again and finish with a 9-7 record!
