Sales
19 y/o
Str: 50
Spd: 43.8 (yellow)
TW: 31.4
EXP: 3.5
Sure Tackler Trait

He was top of my board as well! Everyone is talkin' about that QB Cyril selected but I wanted that Sales action.

I actually never got passed like 10 on my draft board and uhhh sadly all of them were picked by the time my pick came around! Feel like I got pretty lucky, my dude isn't so bad for being a throw pick. haha

Bailey Muster
20 y/o
STR: 46.6 (red)
SPE: 39.7 (no cap)
INT 45.6
TW: 37.2

So that felt weird to have the #1 pick.

Just had to apply my old formula, a dude showed up first, he was a decent QB even if not as young as you want him to be. There were other talents that were maybe better, but we all know the struggle of finding a franchise QB. This one should take this role or eventualy bring me a lot of cash soon enough.

Lorenzo Tournier, QB
21y
INT 48.6
TW 50
STR 43.8
SPE 49.6
PAS / VIS / AGI 28-32
Track Star

He was also my No 1 pick. Excellent starting point for your new team. How come you have been here in 1.1 for the draft ?.

First I have been incredibly lucky to be back just one day before the draft.

Then in my memories the season was shorter and I was imagining coming back 3 or 4 seasons after I left and not only 2. Being in your draft is then the result of my no but flush in season 29. I see 2 possible reasons for that: if you play the play offs final, you are not part of the bot flush. It would explain why few seasons back some 2.x teams did not promote. The other option is that there were just not enough humain team in S29 2.x teams to flush me.

Any case, the result is my bot team stayed the whole season with you in S30 making it part of the S31 draft. When I created the Alpin Ducks, I tried with success to get back’my old team ID which I had 25% chances to get as you can only chose your division.

That’s very fortunate as you know I love stats and thanks to that it’s my new team name next to my All Star trophy in the winner list and next to my old players rankings.

Back to the draft, Lorenzo Tessier needs protection and that’s what we will get with that strong and young OL still available on the bord, Adam Morris.

Guess who is first of my draft wish list... It seems we have similar tastes. With your #1 draft position you can really get two excellent and one very good athletes.

He is a no brainer and I guess many of us would put it in #1 for round 2. He is Round 1 caliber, no doubt about it. His TW is at my limit for OL, but all the other stats are just perfect. Hard to pass.

I rated him pretty high as well, but I value teamwork pretty high as well which made him drop a few place in my system. He's also a really good pick from the position you were drafting, but in defense I rated Irmatov (The Warriors' pick) a bit higher.

I think that's one of the nicest things in this game. We all have a way of looking at it and there's no real right or wrong, as we value things differently. I also take the team's need for someone in that position into consideration. For example, with Gan "Gangbang" Phang not retiring I really don't need a new OL at all, and they all dropped down a little. That's why Morris was ranked 43rd in my draft :-). Y'all can have em.

The Warriors pick was my #18. Morris was my #4. Here are the draft survivors of the first round according to my ranking :

Top 10 : 3
11-20 : 4
21-30 : 2

Cyril made of course the best choice. I also applaud Littleton for their wide receiver who was my #2. I got my #3, Verona received my #5. sad is to see the potential of my #10 pick ending up in a bot team.

Altogether very interesting to see what everyone is doing. It also is easy to see that some teams did not rank which is always a shame but understandable as it does take some time.

Things get interresting in this draft. Next pick for me will be a gamble. But that's what R3 should be no?

You picked a good draft to come back to. Last season's draft went about 15 players deep and was a steaming pile after that. I think this season's draft goes pretty deep...there are still some potentially useful players on the board

I'm getting some lucky picks here. All I did was sort by age and filter down the positions I dont want (G,KR,P,QB,etc). Got a solid second draft pick. 19yo RB 39.4 STR no cap, 41.3 spe yellow cap. 47.7 INT. Should end up being pretty solid assuming the speed doesn't cap earlier than I would like. Even if it does the Str should still be enough to make it a useful pick.

So at the end the gamble may pay.

Sure the dude is 22y which is far to be great, but the rest is more than decent.

22y
3.5 XP
39.3 INT
38.2 TW
45.7 STR Soft cap
42.8 SPE Soft cap
Ball Stripper trait

That's already enough to play DT. If he reaches 44 in SPE I will even play him DE.
