Later I will post something about the current class. What should I post this time? Ideas are welcome! Maybe why the Draftclass sucks so bad in Season 52....I know you can't help it and don't create the players. I'm just frustrated |

I liked your idea! Let me show why this class is not one of the best. I have some data from S49 and S50 drafts. S51 is missing, sorry. Let us see some points:
- There are 47 players assigned as offense (8 QB, 7 OL, 10 WR, 8 TE, 8 RB, 6 FB). S50: 53 players; S49: 44 players. - On the other side we have 38 players assigned as defense (11 DL, 13 LB, 5 CB, 9 SF). S50: 35 players; S49: 43 players. - Special teams are 11 (2 K, 4 P, 2 G, 3 KR). S50: 8 players; S49: 9 players. - Per age: 24 players with 21 yo; 19 with 20 yo; 28 with 19 yo; 25 with 18 yo. (S51 ages). Average age: 19.4. [On S50: 23 players with 21 yo; 20 with 20 yo; 22 with 19 yo; 31 with 18 yo (S49 ages). Average age: 19.4.] - In terms of experience: 13 players with 4*; 23 with 3.5*; 26 with 3*; 24 with 2.5*; 10 with 2*. Average: 3.0*. [On S50: 11 players with 4*; 23 with 3.5*; 25 with 3*; 23 with 2.5*; 14 with 2*. Average: 3.0*.] - We have 57 players with at least 1 trait (S50: 56 players; S49: 63 players). 10 players have 2 traits (S50: 4 players; S49: 10 players). S49 was the last time we had a 3-trait player. - Only 16 different traits this time (S50: 15). There are no players with Stone Wall (S50: no players with either Strong Arm and Natural Leader). - The most common traits are Ball stripper, Long carrying, Slippery and Track Star (8). [S50:Track Star (14); Sure Tackler (7).] * Trait distribution: Ball stripper, Long carrying, Slippery, Track Star (8); Fearsome (7); Ball Manager (6); Long reach (4); Brick wall, Pass Blocker, Sticky fingers (3); Strong arm, Strong leg, Sure Tackler (2); Blocking back, Heavyweight, Natural leader (1) We have a couple more of special teams on this draft which indicates a couple less talented players on the board. We have an intermediate number of offense and defense players in comparison with S50 and S49. In terms of age and experience we have no difference at all from S50. The biggest issue seems to be the traits. We have less traits than in S49 and a little bit more than S50 (considering the 2nd traits). But I think the distribution is not that good. I am quite sure that the managers prefer a larger number of high speed Track Stars... Later I will post some more impressions from this board. |

This is probably the single worst draft board I can remember. If I'd be judging prospects by my usual standards I'd probably have less than 10 that qualifies as 'draftable'.

Thanks...I can only agree with that...I also find it very difficult to find players in the draft for the first round who might have a chance to play in the future...I don't even want to talk about the other two rounds.... |

I'm barely even thinking about rounds anymore honestly, just hope that I either get someone I actually see something in, or randomly stumble into hidden developmental value.

I have selected 12 players as draftable. But I am quite sure that other managers would s e l e c t something like 8 or 9 based on the common sense criteria. Let me share my list (in any specific order): - Deb Ganesh - Aapi Kumpula - Salih Rashid - Arvydas Costa - Wawrzyniec Gałecki - Muharrem Schreiber - Iurie Garcia - Matthieu Kupsa - Hélder Couch - Manuel Pérez - Srećko Flüh - Tinsulaananda Suchinda |

We all seem to have different ways of analysing draft players. I'm just glad that Sfniner08 doesn't draft in front of me...last year he drafted the players I wanted right under my nose |
