Here in Catalonia, Spain, the typical soup the day after Christmas, which is a holiday too here, is a pasta soup called "Galets", which is shaped like a sort of basket case, with a meat ball we call "pilota" (ball). Basically, minced meat made of all the rests of the meats from the previous Christmas meals.
