This division I am in is so tough. I would guess top 5 Hardest divisions in supercup
3 elite league members plus Kirby, leadhill wonder, chompers, and I’m not so bad either. All 7 mentioned were deep in their league playoffs in the last 2 seasons. Gonna be a bumpy ride. I have question about my game that happened yesterday @ Venom.
It was a close one and we won in the last 4 minutes due to a Pick6 and a FG with 8 seconds on the clock. I did play a quite large number of players to make them more experienced and used a playbook that I set up last weekend, which is a variation of a tried and true PB that did work to my satisfaction. The stringing together of plays worked pretty well and I managed to force defensive formations of which I was sure I can take advantage of. But that did not happen, because 5 of 11 passes against 5-3-3 were incomplete, as were 6 of 11 passes against 5-2. And these passes that were completed more times than not were for minimal yardage, sometimes even against SG 4 WR on 3rd Down. The Defense of VenoM is pretty neat, sure, but that did surprise me. And now I'm wondering: Is this because of the inexperienced Back-up-QB that played most of the snaps? We had one TD of 27 Yards against 5-3-3, but this one was played by our QB1. The back-up did not have this kind of play the whole game...  |

Do yourself a favor and do not look for that single reason too much. You will not achieve anything helpful with it, I believe.

If this was the opposite and if on those completed passes you would have thrown 3 long TDs, it would had been great and you wouldn't mind the incomplete ones. This is just a "big pile" of shit happens. This time it didn't. Perhaps next time it will. |
