If I am regulated (as I figure I will) I will transfer to another region. I've made it a goal to try and win a league championship in each region and promote to elite. I am a quarter of the way there. Dragons and now Monarchs are checked off. I've decided on this goal as I don't think I'm good or time invested enough to be like the Steve's of Elite that have stayed forever. lol. No disrespect intended.

This year will be extremely hard as I am going to face financial issues, needing to cut a million of my total expenditures per week. I hope some younger players can step up and help.

Shut down the Premium Youth Academy if you did not already do that. That's 500K more in the pocket each week helping a lot to improve finances... at least it works for us  |

So first a quick look back at last season's guesses on how the new promotions would do. I predicted only two with three others on alert, and we ended up with four promotees earning a second year:
In the AC East, I called for two playoff teams, but I missed Jäger's rebuild and underestimated eventual SC Champions Paris Guardians (though AC East was on my "alert" list) AC North, I was too ashamed of my horrible miss the previous season to pick against the Grail Knights again, but I would have been better served endorsing the Mustangs, who also pushed the TigerCats for the division before fading in the end (again, another division on my "alert" list) AC South continues to be a tough division for promotees, so that was an easy win for my predictions. Wouldn't feel right to not miss by a wide margin on at least one division, and in the AC West, even though it was close, I picked the Lakers to win the division, but BobBoy returned to division champs and the Lakers returned to Admirals. Oops. The NC East also made me look a little foolish. I had the mystics sticking around, but they missed out on the final game, and while I said it would be a tough division that would beat itself up, I missed that they would beat up on everyone else, too, and secure a second playoff spot (that I gave to the NC West). The NC North and NC South both went more or less how I predicted. And in the NC West held form, as I predicted, but an overall down season across the board meant I missed on giving two playoff spots to the Dragons. So of the two promotions to stick I predicted (AC West and NC North), only one was right, but from my three potential divisions (AC East, AC North and NC East), all three did have a promotion stick. |
