It's hard to say after just one round of friendlies - I guess most teams will still have a D which is primarily set up to stop the run.
I was happy with the way my D performed today too, ok my oppo was not a top 1.1 team, but they were hardly a weak team with decent overall ratings - and to tear them to shreds like that was pleasing. |

Kaunas Hurricane's season (p)review
Source: http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/7738/68977092.png ► First of all you might noticed that team name was changed a little bit. After holidays board called meeting where they decide to use city name where club was founded instead of AFC letter. Fans support such a move. ► Hurricane appeared quite successful they first season at top division at Sea Devils. We started 3-1 and were happy with the fact, that we came from the lower league. But then sufered 5 straight defeats and team felt into the pit. Everybody was wondering which head should be cut off and like thunder from clear sky was sold local star WR Petras Kazlauskas to Leeds Celtics. Officially was never annouced what was the reason of that move, but were talks that Petras has some conflicts inside dressing room and with him team doesn't have good chemistry. After that Hurricane has shown phenomenal results. From last 7 games guys were managed won 6. Hurricane ended their season with 9-7 and placed 2nd in NC West. Unfortunately, but PO's door was closed. At least Hurricane managed to revenge Hameln Rats, team which we lost in Sea Devils 2.2 super bowl in season 3. ▀ Team Leaders: • Pass yeards - Aleksandras Kucinskas - 318 - retired • Catching - Simione Vulivuli - 270 • Rushing - Marius Terbedis - 1871 • Catch TD - Simione Vulivuli - 4 • Rush TD - Matas Starkus - 12 • Sacking - Ernestas Janonis - 1 • Tackling - Ernestas Janonis - 116 • Pancakes - Giedrius Jakstas - 352 • Interceptions - Wally Braun - 4 • Field Goals - Jörg Fischer - 24 • MVP - Matas Starkus - 4 ▀ Team Stats: • Pass yeards - #23 - 894 • Catching - #23 - 894 • Rushing - #11 - 4014 • Catch TD - #15 - 10 • Rush TD - #15 - 25 • Sacking - #26 - 1 • Tackling - #16 - 780 • Pancakes - #11 - 1212 • Interceptions - #17 - 9 • Field Goals - #5 – 24 ► Preseason: as a matter of fact club didn't make a PO's , players got early holidays. After free days of lying belly upwards guys back to training routine, working on fitness. Also played few friendly games: ○ 10 - 84 @ Cameroon Turtles Source: http://redzoneaction.org/football/images/flags/small/germany.jpg ● 3 - 52 vs The Praha Warriors Source: http://redzoneaction.org/football/images/flags/small/czechrepublic.jpg ○ 80 - 0 vs Hameln Rats Source: http://redzoneaction.org/football/images/flags/small/germany.jpg ○ 42 - 24 vs S.M.T.N. Source: http://redzoneaction.org/football/images/flags/small/spain.jpg ● 7 - 19 vs Hackney Marshes Source: http://redzoneaction.org/football/images/flags/small/isleofman.jpg 2-3, but coaches tryed new things in playbook, also let players to say goodbye to fans in their last games of career. ► Draft: fans loudly expressed dissatisfaction with draft. 3 players, 3 WR's. Otherwise were left only 2 WR, which one of them will retire after this season. No doubt, there is no 3 spots for these rokies, so someone perhaps will be sold. ○ Mindaugas Songaila - 21 old, very intelligent and hard working at practice. He has all chances to fit in team stay in Lithuania. ○ Andrzej Serafin - Polish 23 years old talent showed a bit worse results for scouts, but some experts says that hi has more potential in future, then others. ○ Mindaugas Juskevicius - 23 years old, physically strong reveiver, but with hard character. Hope he won't slip on that. ► Season 5 goals: two new team joined at us in NC West. Cannon Fodder and Nitro Shock. Both clubs lost in Conference Championship last season in 2.1 division. Our goal here at least 2nd. Or just 2nd, because Lucea Cardinals no doubt, Nr. uno in NC West. Lower then second position club board and fans perhaps would be unsatisfied. ● Main goal: make into playoffs. We believe that we able to fight for wild card games. |

Very strange day so far. In all the leagues greatest teams has big problems to win with a big margin.
And we have first shocking one in our league with new-old team of Pensylvannia winning with 98-7. Some other surprises happened too. |

This year it went better as I've won, but I did it without my offense scoring a TD. Not a good sign before next week's tough game. Grzymisław wrote:

The biggest surprise is the slow start of Paradise Regained. Last edited on 2012-08-11 18:23:31 by cantalupe |

I forgot to change my playbook and used the same passing type gameplan I have used in my last 2 friendlies... obviously, with the new engine only active in friendlies it didn't go so well
