A bunch of upsets this week, starting off with Valdanois beating Bonaval Acorns by a TD diference, teh Islanders got trashed by the Spartans who seem to be playing their best football so far, Kyiv Generals bounced back after a couple of losses and beat Gattopardo by a convincing 42-3! The Kentucky Thoroughbreds continue to be the sensation of the season, this time the victim was Lanmeur BZH, who depite entering the game as heacy favourites, got beat badly by 30 points total. To top of a week full of upsets Maciucarii was able to edge past the Rams and continue to prove all their worth in Fire 1.1!

Mention to the game of the week who brought us a one side affair as the Urshult Gladiators baconized the Mighty Magpies, reports have leacked that some PED was found in the Urshult Gladiators locker room, but as yet to be confirmed...

Another week as gone bye and more upsets and close games happened in the best league RZA has to offer. For a game beeing decided by a Field goal between the Rams and the Spartans, with the underdogs Spartans coming on top with a 3-0 win, that’s right I wrote 3-0! What a defensive battle that was, game only had points (Field goal) in Overtime, talk about grinding it out! Kyiv Generals managed to shutdown the Bonaval Acorns with a convincing 40-0 win in Spanish country. Also a big upset with Gattopard defeating NasheDeloTabak in a game that pointed NasheDeloTabak as favourites, however playing in Italy is not easy and gattopardo won the game 35-17 and keept his playoff hopes intact despite only beeing close to mid season. Again I feel the need to mention one of the relvelations of the season, the Schwaben Spartans, this time they absolutely hammered Neroverde to the tune of a 52-20 win, the Spartans continue their amazing campaign and are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. Worth noting the also suprising victory of the Hebridean Academicals ove the THE Underachievers, a 30-20 win that made THE Underachievers manager Tarjan back to the drawing board after beeing defeated by a rival that has proved to be in the hunt for at least a Wild Card spot!
In the games involving the top 3 teams in the power rankings, normality was the word with all 3 teams winning their games, the Gladiators tho had some trouble beating the Islanders, but in the end prevailed by a 10 point diferencial, winning by 20-10. In the bottom of the power rankings nothing new, with all 5 teams but the Kentucky Thoroughbreds who beat the Big Heads (CPU) grabbing the loss, aldo some games beeing close...


In the game of the week the Bears crushed the Maciucarii side, with a 62-3 win that must of felt good, Maciucarii is no sloutch so this was a suprising diference in points in this game. Guess the Franchise name change must of helped them in the defensive side!!!

Well and now a short resume of this week results, the game of the week did not disapoint, with two strong teams and two experiente managers facing off a good show was expected, and both teams came trough providing a enjoyable game where the Gladiators came out on top by 8 points, but must be noted that THE Underachievers keept it close all game and the Gladiators could only put the score in a two possessions diference in the last 2 minutes, before that it was a 1 point game!!! This week we also had alot of more balanced games, the Islanders took the W facing the Acorns by 14-3 in what could be considered a small upset. Barnim Steel took the Academicals to school, after the sensational win by the Hebridean Academicals last week tehy could not reproduce the same performance and got beat against a Barnim Steel team who looked convincing, 24-13 was the final score. The Kentucky Thoroughbreds continue sensational season, this time they beat the Terrapins who were ranked slightly higher then them in the Power Rankings despite not having any win this season, Thoroughbreds won uncontested 19-3 almost shutting down the Terrapins and are hunting the WC spot. Maciucarii received and beat the Gamblers 35-24 which was just what the doctor ordered after last week big loss against the Bears. In an all Italian “derby”, higher ranked Lambrushia hammered Neroverde by 42-3 and claimed bragging rights..for now! Special mention again to the Schwaben Spartans who made the Bears sweat to pull off the win, Final score was 17-7 Bears. Spartans left the field head held high!
