Well week 9 is in the books, and I for one can’t say I will miss it since My Mighty Lions continue their perfect season....of losses! This time against the Rams and despite only allowing 3 First downs Lions lost 23-7!!! But enough about misery, lets go right ahead and see what happened of relevancy this week, in the game of the week the NasheDeloTabak proved to be to strong for the suprise package of the season, the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, the final score was a 44-17 trashing for the Russian side. In the Italian affair between Neroverde and Gattopardo, the home team took the points on a good game to follow they beat Neroverde 31-14 and put even more distance between themselves on the board. The spanish side Ajalvir Destroyers took the fight to the kyiv Generals in the Ukraine and managed to go by them unscaved, winning the game 27-10! In Scotland the Hebridean Academicals continue their up and down season, this time they managed to bet bottom feeders Pako Team 28-17, and with this win they maintain their playoffs hope intact, specialy seeing that the Underachievers were defeated in home soil by the Lambruschia lads who managed to sneak past them, 35-17 was the score. In the best defensive battle of the week between the Farmsum Islanders and the Nasty Squirrels, both defenses where beasts and only allowed FG’s in this one, 1 FG for the Sqirrels, 4 FG’s for the Islanders for a final score of 12-3! In the other games, Magpies Trashed CPU side, Gladiators looked solid beating Lanmeur BZH 33-7, the Bears easily got rid of the Terrapins aswell. In some more close matchs, Big Blue lost at home to the Barnim Steel, final score 24-16 shows it was a enjoyable game to follow, and to top it of Nakkiga received and beat in Poland the Bahamas Blue Bulls who couldn’t handle the cold weather of Poland and lost 24-17, a 1 TD diference proved enough for the Polish side to take the points.

Now that week ten is in the books time for a short resume.
In what many called “The Game of the week” (actualy only one person did..yes it was me) the Maciucarii absolutely CRUSHED the Spartans, and with that absolute gem, they might of sent some Spartans playoff hopes packing, it was a must win game for the Spartans but Maciucarii took over the game and didn’t gave them a chance. The Kyiv Generals who looked like they were on their way to recovery and gain some momentum, got stopped on thier tracks by a very solid Lyon team, the french side took no hostages and beat the Ukrainian side 38-24 to be in a two way tie in teh lead of the division with GLADIATORI ROMA who beat bottom side Pako’s Team confortably. Speacking of bottom side teams, the same 5 teams that were 0-8 lkast week, remain 0...this time and 9 this week, so the chase for a 1st elusive win continues for those teams. In the top of the pyramid, Gladiators took the game agaisnt the Thoroughbreds seriously as the score proves it, 41-13, this time the Thoroughbreds couldn’t upset a Championship contender. Mighty Magpies were very strong against italian side Gattopardo, I expected a it more fight from them but in the end it was a landslide win for the canadian side, 62-10! Mention to THE Underachievers who after a rough couple of games got back on the winning side of the ball, they beat early suprise package Bahamas Blue Bulls by 41-17 in the Bahamas none the less...
Major upset of the week was the amazing win of the NY Big Blue over Polish side NAkkiga, did not saw that one coming, seems like NY had a great game plan and Nakkiga might of not took their opponents seriously, in the end they paid dearly for that with a loss by 16-13 to NY, great win for the american side, that should boost their confidence for the remainder of the season. Also suprising, the Destroyers pummled the NasheDeloTabak to the ground! A 42-16 win for the spanish side facing a very talented team in the russian side, but one that seems to not be able to adjust to the new game style, and boy did they paid for it in this game, great win for the spaniards. And I think that covers it for week 10.

Time for a quick analisys on week 11 of the regular season. Starting of with the Game Of The Week, where there was a well deserved win by the Magpies over the Bears by 28-10, game was under control by the Magpies since the 1st quarter, the Bears tried a comeback and were able to make it closer in teh 3rd Quarter but in the end it was not enough, Magpies proved to be too strong this day for the Bears.
The other top teams managed to go through unscaved,Gladiators, GLADIATORI and the Rams managed to get wins on their games, aldo teh Rams had to fight off a pesky Thoroughbreds team, that once made life hard for the top contender. In the bottom of the league we had a game between two teams trying to avoid relegation, CARDIACJACKETS Vs Terrapins were two teams still without wins much like the Lions who again feel to a higher ranked team the Lambruchia side, but back to the game in hand, Terrapins nabbed the victory playing in Israel, they shutdoiwn their opponents offense and managed to put 14 on the scoreboard, leaving now only 3 teams without wins.
In one of teh most interesting games we had Nakkiga losing against NasheDeloTabak by 3 points in a cold field in Russia. Valdanois beat fellow French side Lanmeur 37-10, and is now with both feet in the Playoffs!! Same thing can be said of Maciucarii, who with a convincing win over neroverde is now a firm Wild Card team. Also notice to the great win by the Gamblers over the Islanders that leaves the hunt for the WC in the AC division in a amazing race with over 4 teams trying to get to it...who will be able to snag that playoff spot? Week 12 didn’t brought any major upsets in my view. GLADIATORI clearly beat Valdanois in the game of the week, which by looking at the Power Rankings could be expected. Squirrels put up a good fight agaisnt the Acorns but in the end it wasn’t enought to walk away with a win, final score 16-7. The destroyers defense pitched a shutdown game against the Islanders, while the offense put up 31 points. The -TOG- Bears managed to lock the win with a mighty offense, putting up 49 points against the 22 that BZH offense managed to score. The Academicals got demolished by Gattopardo, not an upset the fact that Gattopardo won, but the final score most definately is suprising, a 45-0 result wilç most definately leave Academicals manager Athos thinking on what to do to correct that ASAP!!! Terrapins hosted Pako Team and both teams provided a great game, both teams were battling to escape the worst records and avoid relegation games, Terrapins were able to win this nail bitter by a single point, 24-23 was the final score, and with that leaving Pako Team in a bad position in the stadings while putting themselves in a good position to avoid one of the 4 worst records in the league and also managed to overtake neroverde within the division rankings! Neroverde who lost naturaly with the Magpies 63-14, speacking of top rated teams the Gladiators had unexpected trouble vs the NY Big Blue, a slim win by 27-14 was the final score. Back to the middle of the pack, where the Thoroughbreds were unable to stop Nakkiga from winning the game and with that continue on a losing streak that as pulled them one game back in the WC hunt! The Bulls beat the Generals who now are the second BOT team in FIRE 1.1 so not much to tell there. Mighty Lions managed to pull of a win after 10 games, it was against a good CARDIACKJACKETS side who gave them trouble for the most part, in the end tho Mighty Lions managed to pull away in the score, almost like they had more energy then the rivals...(PED usage as been confirmed). A big win for Lambrushia against Maciucarii, a 63-10 stomping was the result of a almost perfect gameplan put up by the italian side. Barnim Steel received and beat struggling side NasheDeloTabak, a team that despite all his ppotential continues to struggle a mighty struggle, Steel is not to blame to, and took advantage of seveal mistakes by NasheDeloTabak to win it fair and square, 45-3 was the final score. I had alot of expectations for this one, Spartans vs Gamblers, but the Spartans made the Gamblers look bad, Only the 1st qarter was a even matchup, the rest of the time the Spartans made short work of the Gamblers, a very convincent win by 34-3 must put some fear in their opponents, the WC hunt continues in NC for them! Also a great win for the Underachievers, they went to France and pounded the Lyon Eagles 45-13 in a game that was expected to be much closer, but in the end teh Underachievers showed great supremacy over the Lyon side, with this win theyproceed leading their division with the Bulls right on their tale...

Week 13 had some interesting matchups, the biggest of them all (according to a fool named Canonico) was GLADIATORI ROMA Vs Lyon Eagles, the Italian emperors managed to pull off the win despite the French putting up a great fight and made them sweat their jerseys to win the match 27-17, a great game. The other top teams managed to win their games with or without more or less effort, aldo the Gladiators are not looking as impressive as they did earlier on in the season, but that might be a strategy to catch his opponets of guard...who knows? Magpies put 82 points on the Thoroughbreds, truth be told that one did not expected the Thoroughbreds to win it, but I also did not expected such a diference, 82-24 final score. Bears beat the CARDIAJACKETS 31-0 again with a solid performance they are looking very good as the season progresses. The Rams beat teh Islanders in a Netherlands derby, their defense was simply unbeatable and did not give up a single point to a disapointed Islanders side, they fought bravely but couldn’t do anything to overcome a better Rams side, 28-0 was the score. Valdanois managed to sneak a win vs the Acorns, a tight match between two similar teams was decided on details, 17-13 was the final result. The Blue Bulls managed to put a stop in the NY Big Blues winning streak and got the W with a 17-9 scoreboard. Gattopardo was suprised by neroverde and lost 38-24. The Underachievers seemed to have found their groove and have been rolling as of late, this time victimizing a Nakkiga team who simply was baffled by the Underachivers offensive prowl, 63-16 was the final result. Lambrushia made short work of the Spartans in Italy, prooving once again that it’s tough to beat this team, specialy at home, 56-13 in the end showed a large diference in this game. Academicals manager Athos must be disapointed and at the same time pleased with how his team showed improvement, from getting pummled last week his team now was in teh game preety much all the time against a strong Romanian sice Maciucarii who stil managed to pull the win in Scotland, 23-21 was the score of this tight game. Bottom sides Mighty Lions and Terrapins manage to pull off wins agaisn’t higher ranked teams causing in their run to escape demotion.
