It's again Supercup time.
Of the Monarchs region we have 15 teams qualified for the playoffs, of those are 4 of Elite. The matchups are: birney's weekenders @ Constanta Sailors Space Kraken (ELITE) @ St Pauli Packers Morgantown Mad Dogs @ Cottbus Cobras Social Distance Runners @ Ruhrpott Miners Vancouver Corsairs @ Derpenstein Devils Budapest Wolves @ Hopping Rabbits Prairie Falcons @ Trnava Saints Stone Mountain Hawks 2 @ Rockabilly Kings Barossa Bulldogs @ Berlin Racoons Black Habaneros @ Green Mark Packers Devon Warriors @ Black Dragons (ELITE) Leverkusen Leopards (ELITE) @ Rio Claymore Suchdol Minors @ Rockford River Rats Caplit e salama (ELITE) @ Girona Dragons 1714 Paxtang Black Panthers @ Pizti Beltzak Some tough matchups, but with Supercup, almost every round is a tough one.  playcall. Good game @KAFakofers!
Looks like the Saints will win the division again. Heading back to the playbook, needs some adjustements.  |

Looks like the Saints will win the division again. Heading back to the playbook, needs some adjustements. You loss has some playoff implications. Saints will likely win the Division, KAFakofers will likely sneak in the playoffs as 6th and the Tigers will fall out of it. |

In total a record of 9-6 with 3 of 4 ELITE teams intact. For the 2nd round we have as matchups: Ruhrpott Miners @ Cirano Prairie Falcons @ Paxtang Black Panthers Panthers @ Hopping Rabbits Berlin Racoons @ Black Habaneros (CIVIL WAR) Suchdol Minors @ Paris Guardians Leverkusen Leopards (ELITE) @ Space Kraken (ELITE) (CIVIL WAR) Dumbarajko Elephants @ Black Dragons (ELITE) Unfortune we have 2 CIVIL WARS in that round with teams from Monarchs region battling it out against each other. I have to say, thinking of any team from the AC going to elite to compete, I don't see many on the playoff list to have a realistic chance to do that. Saints are likely the best option, they went twice so far. For the rest it would be a new expierence and likely a short one. That did make it a 3 team tie for the #6 spot, which the KAFakofers did win by PD. In the NC the field of elite teams in waiting is longer. The Miners had 1 trip already, the Habaneros are the best of all teams never having a trip to elite and the Minors had already 4 trips so far. Panthers are a sleeper, had already 6 trips, but the last one is 20+ seasons in the past. There are not quite back on the level needed, but in playoffs everything can happen. That's 4 out of 6, which should make the NC playoffs entertaining. With that we have as wildcard games: 2025-06-03 17:00 Wildcard Playoff Berlin Racoons @ Orono Ancient Snappers Both teams had off-days and great days, so this can go any way. The match during this season did end with a Racoons win, last season (Supercup) it was a Snappers win. I slightly do favor the Raccons, but only by gut-feeling. Doves @ Hopping Rabbits The 3rd game between the teams during this season. Right now they are 1-1, with me favoring the Rabbits to win again. But likely also a close one. KAFakofers @ Suchdol Minors Another 3 game rematch, but here the Minors did sweep the KAFakofers and will do this likely again. The teams are very far seperated in terms of strength. Paxtang Black Panthers @ birney's weekenders Another rematch. The teams did play a few weeks before and the Panthers won in a close one. Now I think, the Panthers will win with a bigger margin, IF the weekenders managers won't login until the game starts. If he does, I pick still the Panthers, but a close one. |
