Both games were won clearly as expected.
So, no differences to my predictions.

Regarding the new teams
Augusta State Bulldogs, did login a few days ago. Looks like they build on the stadium. But the team is far from being managed as a regular manages a team normally.
Valverde Mulos, still no licence, no login since 4 days.
Clazza Crunchers went BOT.

One difference on my picks and a quite surprising one, still, when you compare the teams, it's not qay off the chart. It's just that it seems the Chaotic Smile manager is putting much more into his team than the Jaguars manager. Still, such stuff can happen.

For the upcoming gameday on Saturday, the 1st with no bye week teams since a long time, I have:

Of the 5 projected contenders, Dragons, Minors, Saints, Cobras and Ancient Snappers, did the Ancient Snappers not play too well, losing to the Copenhagen Lions as major difference to my prediction. Still, they will win their division and then it’s up to them, but right now it feels, like the 5 contenders are in reality only 4 contenders.

Trnava Saints 14 2 (two wins more than in the preview)

No real surprises, just some difference in games between contenders, and I had now being BOT Crust taking on the Saints, which is now a given win for the Saints. The game between the Dragons and the Saints will decide the division, which I picked for the Dragons.

Minors and Cobras on track as I predicted them, only Jaguars with one more win so far, than I expected them to have. That is right now not enough to get into the playoff picture. The Minors with one of the easiest schedule of all contenders avoiding all the other leading contenders from both conferences and will likely win all games to win the division.

River City Delta Devils (BOT) 8 8 (Those were the Doves, 2 wins less than in my prediction)

This division is really disaster. Doves went BOT, but the team got selected by another human for some time to accumulate so many wins, they might even win the division. Iron is likely to win the division anyway, but they lost a game I had picked them to win. No biggy, just win against Augusta State! The PD is already in their favor and Delta Devils might lose more games than here anticipated, but better get to 8 wins to be sure.

I had the Snappers as winner against the Saints and the Lions and they did lose those games. The first is not bad, the second more, since the Lions are not really in competition mode, but gaining steam, obviously. The rest of the teams will have no impact on the playoffs.

That as base we would have that kind of setup for the playoffs with the Jaguars left out, two wins behind the Cobras, which is almost impossible to overcome, given the many BOTs we have in the league. The Wildcards would be a in favor of the visiting teams and then the tough games would start. If those prediction would come through, we would have in the divisional playoffs two rematches between divisional rivals!

Here the 4 teams I had as contenders, Chaotic Smile, Miners, Black Panthers and the Leopards, the Chaotic Smile are facing serious problems. They are facing not only to lose the division, but also to get no playoff spot. They did lose too many games I picked them to win and there is not much time left to righten the ship. So, right now it looks like there are only 3 contenders left.

Trnje on track, but losing some stream internally, because they are in financial trouble, which causes player sales and cuts. Main reason for the trouble is a matured wage setup on a team with an unfinished stadium and a ridiculous low media center invest. What saves them regarding the division crown and the playoffs is a very soft remaining schedule. The game against the Chargers at season final might decide the division, but likely the PD will decide in case of a Chargers win and that will be very likely in favor of Trnje. The Chargers did outperform my expectations already and with the right amount of wins and PD, they might get into a tiebreaker for a playoff spot, thanks to Chaotic Smiles results so far.

Chaotic Smile lost crucial games and are right now not even in the playoff picture. Only a strong finish will bring them up to those 10 wins, which includes a rematch against the Lions, they better win at the end of the season. Still, this might come down to a tiebreaker between a lot of teams with 10 wins and only the best PD will win here. But help might come in by an unexpected source, since the Lions were already on the edge of becoming BOT and are again right now. IF they fall BOT, the outcome of the division is then wide open and Chaotic Smile will likely win the division. But right now, the Lions are on track to win the division.

This could be the season the Black Panthers will win the division over the Miners. It will come down to the matchups between both teams, in the coming weeks. I had the series split and it might come down to PD. Right now the Miners are ahead in that, but the Panthers will have one BOT game more than the Miners, which might change that sorting quickly. I still have sorted the Miners ahead of the Panthers, because they DID so far play a bit better and they might squeeze out those few points to get it done. Regardless, both teams will play in the playoffs. The Lions did good so far and are one game ahead my predictions, which means, they might secure the sixth place in the playoffs and the 10-win-tiebreaker teams can sort out, who were left out of the playoffs first.

All on track here, even with some differences in the predicted games. Right now all looks as expected and there is no reason to believe it will be different. Leopards will win the division. KAFakofers might get into the playoffs as 10-win team, if they get the tiebreaker in their favor, but only if the Lions lose a game more than expected.

Based on that, the NC playoff picture would look like that, also here quite in favor of the wildcard visiting teams. Lions vs Lions might become fun and the result might be different, but right now the Danish team just keeps on building, while the French team does the opposite. If that happens, Miners and Panthers will clash again in the playoffs, while my team will face the Lions.

Very informative and well written league preview. I always enjoy reading these. Since I am only keeping an eye on the Monarchs on the side this season, this really helps me maintain a good overview for my return.
