I think we need to get an independent commission in the Monarchs league, there's some serious questions that need answering.
1 - why are the Hornets 8th ? 
2 - why are the Hornets behind the Aliens, a team of mediocre players and coaches with a manager sporting delusions of grandeur and dubious health hygiene ? 
3 - why do the Hornets keeping playing the Marauders at their appalling Plunderdome stadium for league games, are they paying the scheduling committee more money than me ? 
I await the independent commission's findings and will be happy to leave the suitcase of used notes in the usual place.

Week 8 power rankings are released!
Monarchs 1 Power Rankings - Week 8 Top 10 notes: -The top 4 teams are unchanged from last week. Bradford bulls stay at the #1 seed even with a bye week! -Leverkusen Leopards enter the top 5 after a blowout win vs. the Hawks. -Berinsfield Hornets successfully bribe the "committee" and move up to #6. -Midnight Marauders and the DA Raiders both suffer losses and fall to #8 and 9 respectively. -Orlando Hawks are hanging onto the top 10 by a thread thanks to it's high overall rank. Good luck to everyone playing in week 9! -JV |

Monarchs 1 Power Rankings - Week 9 Top 10 notes: -Bradford bulls and the Aliens stay at #1 and #2 respectively. -Black Dragons move to #3 after a blowout win vs the weekenders. -Marauders had a bot game so they leap to #4 from #8. -Leopards and Bruisers stay at #5 and #7 -Letaidans fall to #6 from #3 after a close loss to the leopards. -Hornets are on a bye week and go back to #8. -MK Saints and the KAFakofers both had bot games and enter the top 10 for the first time! Some predictions:
AC Playoff teams are basically set, ranking might differ. Right now it's Torchwood Aliens Bradford Bulls Leverkusen Leopards Letaidans DA Raiders MK Saints NC Playoff teams are decided by this 7 teams, with likely winner of the competition between Oilers and Panthers does get #4, the other drops out. Black Dragons Midnight Marauders Burnaby Bruisers Trois-Rivieres Oilers Berinsfield Hornets KAFakofers Paxtang Black Panthers Rankings: Bulls will likely stay in TOP 3 rankings (my guess is #1) Aliens will drop a bit, likely out of TOP 5 (my guess is #7) Black Dragons will remain TOP 3 (my guess is #2) Marauders will rise to TOP 3 (my guess is #3) Leopards will stay in TOP 5, maybe challange for TOP 3 (my guess is #4) Letaidans will rise back to TOP 5 (my guess is #5) Bruisers will drop a bit, but stay TOP 10 (my guess is #8) Hornets will rise a bit, but stay TOP 10 (my guess is #6) Saints will stay TOP 10 (my guess is #9) KAFakofers will drop a bit out of TOP 10 (my guess is #11) DA Raiders will rise to TOP 10 (my guess is #10) Winner of Oilers/Panthers will become #12.
