I wish I have had some time to post here before the WC but RL needed some focus on last days. But here is somo analysis from the last events on Dragons 1.

Week 17

On the AC the most probable outcomes were confirmed. Ergodicity clinched homefield advantage as seed #1 and the Seahawks got a bye with seed #2. The Polar Bears lost their last game against the Paladins (in a very close game) and have let their bye chance escape. Viper defeated the Devils and clinched the division for the first time in Dragons 1 and also got #4 spot. Jackalopes (#5) and Westlake Marines (#6) from NC North were the other qualifiers.

While that, on the NC... The NC East was decided on last seconds (17 seconds left to be more precise) by a 72-yard pass from the former Southshore Schocks team that cruelly denied the Torpedos the division title and the playoff berth. I must say it was a pretty deserved (and shocking ) way to close the journey of flimss on RZA. And with that result the Nottingham Outlaws retained the division title and got seed #4. On the North, Rio confirmed the division title while Gardians surprisingly lost to underdogs Nuthuggers which forced the french team out of playoffs. The Steelers liked it as they got seed #6 after beating the bot Saints. While that, on the South the Pikes did what was expected and finished with a superb campaign and seed #1. On the West, the Dolphins managed to beat the Janitors and were granted a #2 seed while the Werewolves came out as #5 after ane easy win.

Wildcard

The regular season may indicate some trends for the playoffs but we are usually surprised by some unexpected results here. The WC started the playoffs with well fought battles.

The Jackalopes (13-3) had a hard day against Viper (10-6) and won by a 1-point margin. The Viper actually had a chance to win it but prefered a FG while on 4th and 2 on opp 9 with 1:27 left. But it was a great performance anyway.

Rio (12-4) finally defeated a positive-record team and managed to get through the Steelers (11-5) with a solid performance and without mistakes of their 2 young QBs.

The Werewolves (12-4) probably had the easiest game in the WC. After ax excellent first half they managed to keep the difference and beat the Outlaws (8-8) by a comfortable 14-point margin.

And the Polar Bears (11-5) surprised everybody (or maybe just me) after beating the Marines (12-4). With an incredible 4th quarter comeback they managed to overcome a 10-point trail and moved to the divisionals with a stunning 26-23 win. That kind of match that we like to watch on the playoffs.

What's next?

Next Saturday we have 4 more matches and the top teams are finally in. I think all games will be really good but (despite my team match) I am really excited by the Jackalopes @ Ergodicity game. Two Elite calibre caliber teams fighting to get back to the top. My bets are on Seahawks over the Polar Bears, Dolphins over Rio and Pikes over Werewolves. But the playoff is place where the unexpected come into reality. We can only afford to wait, see and enjoy it (or not).

Well it sure wasn't easy, it took 59 minutes and 31 seconds to get the lead The werewolves have had my number for quite a long time. Took an interception a missed field goal And an expiring clock to pull it off.

It was a quite interesting game. I know the Werewolves is a great team but your regular season was too good. I thought it could have been a bit easier (7-10 point margin) but at the (very) end the Pikes pulled a win with a FG with a few seconds on the clock. Very nice game!

As far as my estimated calculations go, you got over 450 million in your sale. I don't really think that's gonna be broken anytime soon.

What you all think? This is going to be a good season?

Player Bernardo Díez drafted on pick #27 using your draftorder #3

19 yo DL

SPD 50 / STR 45.4 (yellow)

INT 37.8 / TW 33.5

Sure tackler (5% chance to tackle the ball carrier)

Never thought I could end up with one of my top 3 choices in first round. He has enough room to develop into a top defensive player. Nice start on this draft!

Note: Unfortunately my favorite guy on this board went to my division rival Nuthuggers. LB Vasily Cohen was drafted at #7.

I got #5 on my board, but this is honestly the first ever draft I participated in that had 0 players that got me excited, like "oh, getting him would be pretty nice...". Had like 17 guys holding 'Draft value', have like 3 left after 1st round done.

Having absolutely no expectations from the draft's remaining days, so I might end up happier than expected when the haul's here.

I got number 4 draft order pick at the 30th pick. Just goes to show that people really do value players differently (or they just don't set the draftboard with much effort).

I'm more stoked that my youth pull I just got was 16 years old with 31 strength 40 speed, 44 tw, 36 intelligence, and all other skills are over 10. That is a pretty good pull, right? A trait would be better obviously.
