Semi finals round in World Bowl IV.
This are the games that we have in today for you and we would like to wish everyone the best of luck. Games at 16:00 In SF 1 the Constanta Sailors will travel to Germany and dive underground into the Coal Mine Stadium to challenge the Ruhrpott Miners for a place in the FINAL. These two teams have met once before (last season) with the Ruhrpott Miners winning the game. Perhaps today the Constanta Sailors will return the favor, tie the record and knock out the Ruhrpott Miners from the cup. Games at 19:00 In SF2 the HAMBURG SEA LIONS will travel to the US straight into The Dog Pen Arena for a fight against the Morgantown Mad Dogs. This teams have played twice before with the HAMBURG SEA LIONS holding the record at 2-0. Let's see if today odds will favor the Morgantown Mad Dogs by defeating their old region rival, getting his first win against him and knocking him out of the cup. |

Welcome to the FINAL of World Bowl IV.
FINAL at 20:00 This two teams left behind all competitors to make it to the big dance and to have a chance at hoisting this beautiful trophy. A truly special day brought to all football fans when later on Torakrid's Ruhrpott Miners will travel across their motherland with an express train designed and bought by the Mayor, all the way to Hammer Sports Park Arena in Hamburg to face Chrill's HAMBURG SEA LIONS in this German Bowl. This two teams have faced each other only once before with the HAMBURG SEA LIONS coming out on top. Today marks a special ocassion for the Ruhrpott Miners, not only to make things even with their german comrades, but also having their first Friendly Cup trophy in their cabinet or perhaps we will see the HAMBURG SEA LIONS prevail once again against their comrades and win their 2nd World Bowl. Only a few hours left to either crown a new champion or to see the second crowning from our first World Bowl champion. The streets are beginning to congest with the arrival of the fans who are chanting and clapping for their team and we will have a packed stadium in which the chips, popcorn and beers will fall from the "sky" in today's FINAL. And is it lucky coincidence that just today all the pupils in Hamburg will get their grades and then enter the big summer break? Maybe... but the SEA LIONS spared no expenses and made todays game a public happening where families will get in for free to celebrate not only the team, but the beginning of 6 weeks of free time for the adolescent. Of course, the visiting fans will receive the same treatment, even though they already started their summer break 3 weeks ago

Both fans and the Ruhrpott Miners are happy about the invitation to give families free entry. Thank you to the Sea Lions. A great idea, which we will also take up soon.

It's two hours before kick-off, and the festivities are a joy.
We had a Flag-Football-Exhibition-Game where we spottet some great talent, but it was cut short by one of the heaviest rainfalls that Hamburg had seen in a long time. Many people seeked shelter in the stairways under the ranks to watch this natural phenomenon as Thunder and Lightning passed Hammer Sports Park. Curiously just a few minutes later the bus with the opposing team reached the area... must have been another of these funny coincidences that pop up lately 
Now that most are making use of the numerous food trucks that heard of the event and came to participate, and as the little ones already have some sleepy eyes and drop out for today, many feel a little tension arising. Soon everyone will look for a seat from where to watch the final game of World Bowl IV. And those wearing the colors of the home team sure will hope that the storm that was when the opponent arrived will have been the only one happening by the end of the game... at least in their direction  |

One hour until kick-off.
Because of the heavy rain up to two hours before the start of the game and the associated late arrival of the Miners at the stadium, it was a timed game. But the pyrotechnicians got it just in time. As a surprise, the miners set up a large fireworks display. So it can be ignited one hour before the start of the game. Have fun, let the party start.
