YES WE DO

Yesterdays games decided the NC Conference, all the participants in the playoffs are known. They are:

#1 Green Mark Packers
#2 The Pinellas Pikes
#3 Brookfield Ukies
#4 Alaskan Fur Trappers
#5 Mülheim Steelers
#6 Cargese Dolphins

The seeding may still change between #2 and #3 as well as #5 and #6, depending on the outcome of Saturdays' match-up between the Pinellas Pikes and the Mülheim Steelers.

In the AC Conference there's still a fight for the #6 seed between Sfniner08 and Nippon Steel. The other seeds are set with the following teams advancing to the playoffs:

#1 HAMBURG SEA LIONS
#2 perineum bandits
#3 Mülheim Seahawks
#4 Viper
#5 Baltic Stars
#6 sfniner08

Sfniner08 play at dERBENT CONVICTS on Saturday while Nippon Steel visits the Baltic Stars. If sfniner wins they keep the #6 seed, even if they lose and Steel loses to the Stars, too. Should Sfniner08 lose and Nippon Steel win the AC West will have 3 Teams in the playoffs.

Nippon Steel gave their everything in the win over the Stars. But sfniner8 didn't flinch at the dERBENT CONVICTS and won the game, thus securing their spot in the Postseason. And through the Stars losing at the Steel they even claimed seed #5

The participants in this season's playoff from the AC are:

#1 HAMBURG SEA LIONS
#2 perineum bandits
#3 Mülheim Seahawks
#4 Viper
#5 sfniner08
#6 Baltic Stars

With a great comeback win over their division rival, the Pinellas Pikes, the Mülheim Steelers secured their spot in the Postseason. And this loss was crucial for the Pikes since they dropped to seed #3, losing the bye-week to the Brookfield Ukies

So these will be the teams from the NC to play the S52 playoffs:

#1 Green Mark Packers
#3 Brookfield Ukies
#2 The Pinellas Pikes
#4 Alaskan Fur Trappers
#5 Mülheim Steelers
#6 Cargese Dolphins

These will be some interesting games, good luck to everyone!

Just wondering I was really looking forward to my Wildcard playoff game vs. the Mulhiem Steelers but I see that K3m4li hasn't logged in since 7/10 which of course puts his team at 21 days. I'm wondering if his Steelers will go Bot before or after the game.

Both Mülheim Managers have not logged in for a while now. I hope the did not leave for good. Summer break in their part of the country is coming to a close, though, so we should know more soon

We have four very interesting match-ups today, as we start the Playoffs in the Dragons Region with todays Wildcard Round:

AC

Baltic Stars @ Mülheim Seahawks

These two teams have a rich history of match-ups through the seasons, dating back to S45 when the Stars joined the League and the Division that the Seahawks were already in. The Seahawks lead the record with 9 wins, but the Stars are catching up and haven't lost a game between these two since S48, one of those being last seasons Wildcard Game that the Stars won 37:28. Will they continue that trend and advance to the Divisional Round for the second season in a row? Or will the Seahawks get revenge for last seasons loss?

Sfniner08 @ Viper

These two teams have met only twice since Sfniner08 joined the league, who won both match-ups scoring 33 points. The last one was in S48 when Sfniner08 won the Dragons Bowl and advanced to the ELITE. They haven't been to the playoffs since... which also means the have yet to lose a playoff game in the Dragons league. Viper on the other side had, with the exception of last season, been to the playoffs every time since they joined the league, but never got past the Wildcard Round. Will they join the final 8 this time? Or will Sfniner08 continue to not lose in the Playoffs?

NC

Cargese Dolphins @ The Pinellas Pikes

When these two teams last met in the playoffs it was the Conference Championship of S45. While the first half of that game was even, the Dolphins allowed only one FG after the break while scoring 34 points themselves, winning the whole game 51:20. The game and the ensuing promotion to the ELITE took a heavy toll on the team, though, as three seasons later they even had to defend their place in the Dragons league in a Relegation game. This is their first time in the playoffs since then. The Pinellas Pikes are a regular in the Postseason whenever they are in the Dragons league, already having won the Conference Championship 6 times. And while they lost the aforementioned match-up with the Dolphins, they won the Championship Game after that and were a member of the ELITE for 3 of the last 6 seasons. Will they keep their chance to go there again? Or will the Dolphins win their first playoff game since S45?

Mülheim Steelers @ Alaskan Fur Traders

When the Alaskan Fur Traders joined the league in S47, the Mülheim Steelers had a campaign that only ended in the Bowl Game, leading to them playing in the ELITE for two seasons in a row. During that season they played against each other two times, both games were lost by the Fur Traders. Since the Steelers relegated down from the ELITE this is their first time being in the playoffs again, while the Alaskan Fur Traders are a regular since S48. But when they met in S51, the Steelers took the W in their visit at the Fur Traders. Will they keep winning in their meetings, or will the Fur Traders manage to get the first win?

Good luck to everyone

It's the best Postseason-Day of all today, the Divisional Round Playoffs. 4 highly intriguing match-ups that will be over far to soon. So to enhance the fun, here's an overview of what we'll see today:

Baltic Stars @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS

The Baltic Stars reached the Divisional Round for the second time in a row after their win over the Mülheim Seahawks. They again showed their simple but effective attack that only few have found a way to cope with on a regular basis. One of them seems to be the HAMBURG SEA LIONS who they met two times already this season, with only being able to score 23 combined points in both games.
It’s the second season in a row that the HAMBURG SEA LIONS will host a Divisional Round Playoff Game as the #1 seed. Last season the lights still were too bright, though, at least for the QB who didn’t see who he’s throwing the ball to, thus causing 3 turnovers, and the Pass Defense, who didn’t see the ball thrown by the opposing QB who scored 4 TDs through the air.
Will the Baltic Stars find a way to break the Defense of their Division Rival? Or have the SEA LIONS learned from past mistakes and can suppress the efforts of their opponent?

Sfniner08 @ perineum bandits

Sfniner08 continues to win in the Playoffs and have yet to lose in the Postseason. After their win over Viper in the Wildcard Round their next opponent are the perineum bandits who are lead by a very seasoned veteran manager. They have won 6 Conference Championships since they joined the DRAGONS league, crowning 4 of those with a Superbowl Championship. Their appearance in the Postseason is the 4th in a row, and with finishing the Regular Season as the #2 seed it seems as if they make a run for another Championship.
Will Sfniner08 keep their status as an unbeaten team in the Postseason? Or will the bandits go on to play for another trophy?

Alaskan Fur Trappers @ Brookfield Ukies

After their win over seed #5 the Alaskan Fur Trappers continue their trip through the Postseason with a visit at seed #2. These, being the Brookfield Ukies, host a Playoff Home Game for the third season in a row. Last season they advanced to the Conference Championship which they lost against the eventual Superbowl Champion.
Both teams have crossed paths two times this season already, once in the league and once in the Supercup, where they split the record 1–1. Which one of those will win this time?

Cargese Dolphins @ Green Mark Packers

When the Green Mark Packers joined the Dragons League there were some that saw them as the new team to beat in the league to win a title. And with a Regular Season record of 14–2 they sure did a lot to underscore that notion. But some teams were able to hurt or at least scare them, and one of those were the Cargese Dolphins in Week 8 in which the visitor lost by only 4 points.
The Dolphins lost only 2 more games after that. They won against the perineum bandits 20:17 and caused a great upset in this seasons Postseason already with winning against the Pinellas Pikes on the road.
Will the Dolphins upset another veteran manager and get their revenge for the loss in Week 8? Or will the Green Mark Packers live up to the expectations and proceed to the Championship Game?

Good luck to everyone
