A hot take (or maybe a no brainer?):
In seasons past, we have ended up leaving a couple of teams behind in the post season that were good enough to be competitive in the playoffs. I think there will be more than just a couple of teams that miss out this season. In my biased opinion, Fire is becoming quite competitive, and much less predictable, from top to bottom. |

Thank you, I was just getting on here to say the same to you. That 4th qtr was insane. less than 2 minutes and you're up and have the ball, get an INT and score on the next play to take the lead, and your team starts driving right away. another 2-3 min on the clock and probably a different game.. again.
Very good game, nice to be on the winning side of one of these. And again, thank you. |

Absolutely.. if you want to win, you either need to be damned good or go to another league. My team was on the cusp of the playoffs last 2 seasons, and even this year I have a good shot at making a playoff run, but it's not guaranteed by any means. And even making it there isn't enough.. there are too many teams that are way better than mine. I did think of dropping down to another league to compete, but I mean.. trial by fire.. we are the fire. Just gotta get better. |

It was last season for sure, but this season the Gladiatori seem to have gotten over whatever was ailing them there for several seasons and they are kicking butt. The Fargo Knights even being in this division is just mind blowing for me. This is a 3x Super Bowl champion that has been in Elite League 4 of the past 6 seasons. They are a dangerous Elite level team. And while Άρις Μεσσηνίας (I copied and pasted  ) may be new, I see them online quite a bit. Maybe not a threat this season, but any new manager that sticks around with this level of competition may be worth keeping tabs on!
As for me, my roster has never been stronger. I have a lot of guys that will be rolling off this season as the first phase of my overall strategy, that has been in place since season 48, comes to an end. I will have a whole new look next season and I have been preparing game plans for that day. Man, all last season, I felt like I had the division in the bag and I knew it would be tough to get past Mustangs in the playoffs. This season I have no idea what is going to happen or how things might play out. There are so many strong managers with good rosters now. This is the fun stuff. Not likely to beat Panthers. My PC is too low on many players and for some reason my friendly depth chart got screwed and ended up with my starting QB starting there so now his PC is horrible and I'll be forced to use my backup. I wish I knew how I did that.. I went back and checked the prior friendly and the QB situation was correct. Not sure how the starter got added back to that depth chart.

Chompers v Bangers is my game of the day. Both teams are struggling to stay close to their division leaders and a loss will likely drop the losing team two games out of first place in their division. Worse, it will drop the losing team out of a conference wildcard spot. For now anyway. Good luck to both teams!
