Not sure how turnover return yardage is calculated. I know I've seen a lot of 40+ yard fumble recovery returns, which seems a little unrealistic. It can happen, but not often.
In general, fumbles are a scrum of players diving on a lose ball. Fumble returns are usually for zero yardage, although occasionally a player will pick up a fumble and run with it. Interceptions can often result in large return yardage. General the DB picks off the ball, and if the receiver doesn't tackle time, it kind of an open field situation. Steve SD Blitz |
