As to hope and normal game, the San Diego Blitz lost 3 times this season (S57 league). Space Kraken by Rufio13, Black Dragons by angus and Peoples Republic of Yorkshire by lallen73, they won WITHOUT MOTY. I think human hope is not in the matrix. In S44 and S46, there wasn't any other MOTY vs MOTY. |

It's the second season in a row that we meet a team from the NC East for the penultimate game on our schedule. This time it's the Michigan Weasel Traders, and we already had an encounter with them early in the season in the Supercup. That game was the first of 6 games of which we lost 5, burrying our hopes to be part of the SC-playoffs early in the season. The loss against the Weasel Traders came in OT by a field goal, but it was truly lost by not being able to score in the 4th quarter while giving up two touchdowns.
So we're warned to take the opponent serious today, and we should if we want to keep the chance the chance to sneak into the postseason. There's still the possibility that the Ravens lose one of their final two games, so we need to be there and ready to jump them if they stumble. Will we totally collapse to close the season or can we rebound to get one last chance for our first playoff birth in the Elite? We'll know after todays game. Good luck to everyone  |

I am super excited and since no one is going to toot my horn for me, I am tooting away!
I had very low expectations this season. I hoped to win more than 6 games and still somehow avoid relegation. That was it. I did not think I could pull it off. I felt like Radu was spot on with his 5 win prediction for the Norsemen. After an incredibly surprising season, I will now end with a winning record for the first time in Elite. With last week's MOTY win against Mustangs, I avoided relegation. Today, my exhausted squad had to squeak one out against the Silverbacks, and it came down to the 4th quarter. It was a lot closer than the score suggests, or was anywhere near comfortable for me, but we won. It does not look to my eye like there is anyway the Norsemen miss out on the playoffs now. The Magpies can't close the PD gap with one game left to play. So, historic season for the Norsemen! We competed against the best, and were found deserving. Appearances coming up in SC and the Elite playoffs. I could not ask for more! Congrats to all that make the post season and good luck to all that made the SC playoffs! Let's bang some heads! I on the other hand will be exactly were i predicted at 9-7, but i still can't believe that i will get to play another season Elite and even with a small chance to make the playoffs. So good luck to all the rest of the season
