Here we go again,
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, the Constanta Ravens proudly brings to you the 11th edition of World Bowl. In this 11th edition we will keep things simple again with a 16 teams tournament in power mode played on wednesday, split into 4 groups with 4 teams each and the first 2 teams from each group qualifying in the KO round. We will have 3 group game and a maxim of 6 games for the teams that will advance into the FINAL, for a cost of 30 credits. The groups will be mixed up after all 16 team are registered. So, hurry up and click the registration button.  |

This are the games that we have today and we would like to wish everyone the best of luck. Games at 12:00 In group 1, Trnje will take a first class flight to Vietnam for a meeting against Cà Mau con hổ at Sân vận động Cà Mau in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. Games at 15:00 In group 3, Birney's weekenders will take a hot air balloon across the U.S. for a meeting against Braska Bangers 09 at Westfalen Memorial Stadium in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. In group 4, the Vancouver Corsairs will take a pirate train across Canada for a meeting against the Willoughby Wookies at Wookie Field. This 2 teams played once before and the "Furry Creatures" won it. Let's see if the sun will help out the "Pirates" to won this game and tie the record at 1-1. Games at 17:00 In group 4, the Fredericksburg Comanches will take a first class flight to Germany for a meeting against the Ruhrpott Miners at Coal Mine Arena in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. Games at 18:00 In group 1, Quokkas on steroids will take a fast train to Romania for a meeting against the Constanta Ravens at Ravens Field. This 2 teams played 4 times before and "Mr. Bo$$man" holds the record in his favor at a perfect 4-0. Let's see if this time the "Killer Birds" will have lady luck on their side and get that precious first W and narrow the margin. In group 2, the Brookfield Ukies will take a first class flight to France for a meeting against the Paris Guardians at Central Arena. This 2 teams played 3 times before and the "Cheeseheads" hold the record in their favor at 2-1. Let's see if the "Protectors" will hold their ground today and tie the record at 2-2. In group 3, the HAMBURG SEA LIONS will take a subway to England under the Sleeve Channel for a meeting against Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin at Dave Marsh Field. This 2 teams have met 8 times before and "The Pinnipeds" hold the record at 6-2 in their favor. Let's see if the "Little Men" will bring their A game today, get a W and narrow that margin. Games at 21:00 In group 1, the Leverkusen Leopards will take a first class flight to the U.S. for a meeting against the Morgantown Mad Dogs at The Dog Pen Arena in the first meeting between this teams and a very exciting one as well. |

I did a quick look at the stats last night, and it looked like a close game. You had more passing yards, while i ran the ball more, but we both had the same total yards. Both had an interception too. I think the 6 sacks my defense caused were the big difference. Also, my luck in the World Cup hasn't run out... yet. Good luck in the rest of World Bowl. A very unusual time for us, and more times than not playing an early game leads to us losing... it seems our squad does have difficulties being torn out of it's usual rhythm to prepare for a match. We'll see how it goes today. This season has started quite sobering, so we're expecting nothing and hope for a little bit of solace to ease the pain we have to go through in the league  |
