The problem is many of those never even finished the academy.
Springtown just went bot... I mean, they had a tough schedule, they joined the game and played: Social Distance and Corsairs... and next game was Mystics (they went bot before this game, which is the next one) But hey, better to have 17 of them, gives better possibilities of someone staying!! Perhaps. Did Springtown had his coach licence? All of the new teams that joined, have their licence. WEEK 15 is OVER.
Things are looking pretty clear in the playoff race: AC CONFERENCE The #1 Sunrise City Prairie Dogs having a very close game against the Schrodingers Cats, were able to stick it out until the end and win the game and nobody can stop them from finishing as the #1 seed. The #2 Konjarnik HighTowers managed to defeat their division rival Ghost of Bautzen and they are one win away from clinching the AC WEST division. The new #3 Glasgow Tigers had an easy game against the English Eagles winning by a large margin and if they manage to stick it out against the Social Distance Runners in week 16, they will close out the year as #3 seed. The #4 Devon Warriors had a heartbreaking game against their division rival Mavericks ending up losing the game and the #3 seed. But with confidence on their side, they will have to wait and see if the Glasgow Tigers will come out short in week 16 and retake #3 seed. The #5 Ghost of Bautzen were defeated by their division rival the Konjarnik HighTowers and lost his chance at winning the AC WEST division and entering as the new #2 seed. The new #6 Constanta Ravens won against their division rival (boot team) and are the favorites to finish as the #6 seed. In the HUNT: The new #7 English Eagles, had an awfull game against the Glasgow Tigers and lost the #6 seed. To keep hopes alive they must win the next 2 games against SH Cougars in week 16 & against Ghost of Bautzen in week 17. NC CONFERENCE The #1 mystics had a easy game against a boot team and added points to the PD. It seems that nobody will stop him at finishing as the #1 seed, not even a loss in week 17 against his division rival Social Distance Runners. The #2 Vancouver Corsairs had a good game against the Bombers winning easily but adding less points to the PD. After the outcome of this game, the chance to finish as the #1 seed is far away, so they will have to be satisfied as the #2 seed. The new #3 Constanta Sailors managed to defeat their division rival SH Cougars after a hard fought game and if they win their last 2 games against Dirty Bottom Boys in week 16 and against their division rival Shawlands Clansman in week 17, they will win the NC NORTH division as well as finishing the season as the #3 seed. The #4 Dnipros Dendroids had an easy game against the Dirty Bottom Boys, winning by a large margin and if they win in week 16 against the Hamburg Baltic Dogs, they will win the NC EAST division and will finish as the #4 seed. The #5 Social Distance Runners won against Michigan Weasels in a very convincing fashion and they will finish the season as #5 seed. The new #6 SH Cougars had a very hard game against their division rival theConstanta Sailors, coming out short and also losing the #3 seed. They will have to win their last 2 games against the English Eagles in week 16 and against the Hamburg Baltic Dogs in week 17 and pray that the Constanta Sailors will come out short in a game, to retake the #3 seed and also the NC NORTH division. In the HUNT The #7 San Diego Matzah Ballers had a good game against the Dirty Ducks and winning pretty easily. They still have hope at winning the NC EAST division as well as clinching the #4 seed, by winning their last 2 games against the Schrodingers Cats in week 16 and against the Dnipros Dendroids in week 17 and also needing a loss by the Dnipros Dendroids against the Hamburg Baltic Dogs in week 16. |

Now i know the Friendly Cup is on a different Engine or Mode... but that very same playbook just beat the Konjarnik High Towers. Im at a loss.  Yeah, your QB had 37% completion rate. He had a BAD day. Your rushing offence did ok, but 3 yards/carry is pretty low. Your defence didn't play very well either. This is one of those games when the whole team plays awfull. |

Some good wild card matches are on slate for Tuesday. The Distance Runners are the runaway favorite (pun not intended, but it works) but after that, I'm not as confident.
We have two rookie Constanta teams, and I'll take the Sailor variety to win the rubber match against the Cougars as home-field advantage could be pivotal. The Warriors won comfortably earlier this season against the Ravens, but the Ravens have looked better lately while the Warriors are a team that could upset the field and win the conference. I'll take the Warriors in a close one. And in the final match, two teams that I admit are a bit of a mystery to me in Glasgow and Bautzen. Both teams fizzled a bit in the final week, and Bautzen did beat Glasgow earlier in the season, but now the Tigers have the home field advantage. Bautzen also carrying a morale penalty, but should have time to recover to 100% if the facilities are in place. I'm taking the Tigers to avenge the early season loss. |

Yeap,
The Constanta Ravens as well. We definetely beat our prediction in the start of the season and happy to make the playoffs in our first season in SD1. |
