So the group stages are over and on to the KO round we go.

Yeah, I know. And I actually have the appropriate lines in the playbook. I just don't know why there's still this awful line with "SG 4 WR Pass Deep" in it... I was sure that I eliminated them all. Damn, I HATE to lose because of dumb mistakes

Today start the KO round in World Bowl III.
This are the games that we have in the quarter-finals today and we would like to wish everyone the best of luck. Games at 12:00 In QF 1, the Ruhrpott Miners will travel to France at the Central Arena to face the Guardians. This two teams have met 3 times before, with the Guardians claiming the win in all 3 games. Perhaps today we will have a new story and the Ruhrpott Miners finally get that much expected win. In QF 2, the St Pauli Packers will travel to Romania at Ravens Field to square off with the Constanta Ravens. This two teams have met only once in which the St Pauli Packers came out victorious. Let's see if today the table will turn in favor of the Constanta Ravens. Games at 15:00 In QF 3, the Morgantown Mad Dogs will travel to Wales for a swim in The Aquarium Stadium against the Aberthaw Dolphins. This will mark the first meeting between them and it will be a great game to watch. In QF 4, the Vancouver Corsairs will travel to England on the Isle of Avalon for a fight against the Glastonbury Grail Knights. This also marks the first meeting between these 2 teams and the most interesting game in the QF round. From all networks, ESPN was selected to broadcast it, as the Match of the Day |

Great game Torben,
Both offenses killed today
After that start in the 3Q when i was leading by 21 points, i almost popped the champagne, but hell, you managed to come back and tie the game in the 4Q at 35. But in the end, my offence got togheter one more time and got the job done. What a crazy game.

The play of the game was the sack in the 2Q, wich causes a 3&20 in my own redzone with an intercepted high risk pass. Maybe I should act more like Aaron Rodgers in such situations like throwing out of bounce even if there's an uncovered receiver wide open instead of risking his TD/INT-statistic. But maybe this is boring and will never lead to a NFC-Championship...

Let's see if today the table will turn in favor of the the Glastonbury Grail Knights, or if the Constanta Ravens will triumph once again. Games at 21:00 In SF 2, the Guardians will travel a long way to the US, into The Dog Pen to square off with the Morgantown Mad Dogs. This will mark the first meeting between them and it will be a great game for the history book since the winner will advance in the final. |
