Phew, the HAMBURG SEA LIONS are on the right side of .500 at last by winning their third game in a row. But it was far from easy, thank goodness we were able to fend of the offensive onslaught that are the Ubernoobers until late in the third quarter. Special shout out to SEA LIONS LB Aubrey Dawson who seemingly decided to make a stand today with two crucial sacks and an Interception on the own 13 which set up the 26:0 lead at half time.
Great game, jmax47. Your offense really got going late in Q3, and you do some really good things on defense ![]() |

We're approaching the crucial stretch of this Hullabalooza-Friendly-Cup. Let's remember: the first four spots of each group advance to the first playoffs round, to be played on Jan. 7th. With only two games to play in the group round it will get tight on the next two game days.
So what did the games today do to the standings in both groups? Group 1 The Creators team will definitely advance to the playoffs, they have won every one of their 5 games played. Behind them are the Social Distance Runners and Ipso Facto, both with a record of 3–2. If they win their next game they will be locked in for the playoffs. The Runners will meet the Braska Bangers 09 (1–4), who will have to win out to have a slight chance to get in. Ipso Facto will go to Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin (2–3), which is always dangerous. 3 more teams, the Ruhrpott Miners, the Leadhills Wonderers and TOOL, are 2–3, a fascinating constellation in the battle for a playoff spot. TOOL plays the Miners with a chance to jump them. The Wonderers, having lost 2 in a row, have the Creator coming. Group 2 The Niceville Norsemen are the second team that's without a loss in this Cup and will advance to the playoffs round. On their heels are the Bretzfeld Bandits with a record of 4–1 which should take them to the playoffs, too. They have to visit the HAMBURG SEA LIONS (3–2) on Christmas Eve, though. The SEA LIONS won 3 games in a row and have the chance to secure their spot in the playoffs with a win, too. The Constanta Ravens come in with the same record of 3–2. They have to face the Norsemen up next. Should they not win against them they have another chance for the playoffs on New Year's Eve... against the SEA LIONS. Meanwhile the Hemet Hooligans (2–3) can make up ground and are still in good position for sneaking into the playoffs. Three teams in this group will have to have their fates really fall the right way to advance, that are the Brookfield Ukies, the Ubernoobers and The Blue and White, all of which have a record of 1–4. Nonetheless: It will be exciting until the end. Last edited on 2023-12-17 20:48:00 by Chrill |

Today the fourth and final advent candle was lit and, because it’s one of those years, Christmas Eve is here. As there’s no chance to get anything anymore (usually there’s always something missing for somebody to throw himself into the madness of visiting the supermarket on Christmas Eve
![]() ![]() Talking about games: We have another full slate of virtual football that’ll be played over the course of the day. And as we reach the end of this Hullabalooza Friendy Cup group round, there are some games with great importance. Some teams can secure a spot in the playoffs round, some teams will be left with no chance to advance after today. These are the games for Game Day 6: 1200 GMT Ruhrpott Miners (2–3) @ TOOL (2–3) Hemet Hooligans (2–3) @ The Blue and White (1–4) 1600 GMT Niceville Norsemen (5–0) @ Constanta Ravens (3–2) 1800 GMT Braska Bangers (1–4) @ Social Distance Runners (3–2) Ipso Facto (3–2) @ Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin (2–3) 1900 GMT H2TAGIT4Q (5–0) @ Leadhills Wonderers (2–3) 2100 GMT Bretzfeld Bandits (4–1) @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS (3–2) Brookfield Ukies (1–4) @ Ubernoobers (1–4) Good luck for everyone, and Merry Christmas ![]() Last edited on 2023-12-24 13:07:50 by Chrill |

Good game Boa
![]() I was lucky to "get away" with the win. Both offenses played a great game, but those 2 turnovers ruined the game for you, so a + for my defense in this one. Good luck the rest of the way . ![]() |

A little re-cap of yesterday, as both group are almost settled for the playoff round:
Group 1 has the single remaining unbeaten team of this Hullabalooza with the H2TAGIT4Q at 6–0. Behind them are the Social Distance Runners and Ipso Facto who both won their games yesterday and are now at 4–2. The Ruhrpott Miners are at 4th place currently with an even record of 3–3. Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin, TOOL and the Leadhills Wonderers are all 2–4, the Braska Bangers 09 are 1–5. The Miners go to the Melittlemen on Sunday and try to defend 4th place. Should they lose by more than 22 points, the little men will take their spot in the playoffs round. TOOL have small chances to get in, too, but that would take a herculean effort and a win by many, many points, and the Miners would have to lose, too. Group 2 is still led by the Niceville Norsemen and they will very likely go to the next round of this friendly cup at first place. 3 teams follow with a record of 4–2: the HAMBURG SEA LIONS, the Bretzfeld Bandits and the Constanta Ravens. At least one of them will lose their next game, as the SEA LIONS and the Ravens square off on Sunday. That could be the chance for the Hemet Hooligans, who currently have an even record of 3–3, to sneak into the tournament. They would have to beat their coming opponent, the Ubernoobers, of course, and very likely have to put up a lot of points to refurbish this PD to their favor. Three teams have no chance to advance to the next round anymore, and that are the Brookfield Ukies at 2–4 and the Ubernoobers and The Blue and White, both at 1–5. Have a happy holiday, everyone ![]() |
