SEA DEVILS PLAY OF THE DAY
In a thrilling turn of events, the game's momentum shifted dramatically when Franz-Xaver Schneider snapped the ball to Alfredo Richter, who handed it off to Shawn Frank on a run play over the center. However, Frank lost grip of the ball, and Kjell Lid, the opposing team's middle linebacker, pounced on the fumble. This crucial play occurred at the opponent's 37-yard line, with 9:58 left in the 4th quarter. Lid swiftly returned the ball 34 yards, dodging Ottokar Jäger's attempted tackle. Richter managed to bring Lid down, but the damage was done. The fumble return swung the game's momentum in favor of the Bergen Bruisers, who ultimately won 44-38 against the HAMBURG SEA LIONS. The play showcased Lid's agility and reaction time, as well as Richter's quick thinking. The match was played at Hammer Sports Park in Hamm-Nord, with an attendance of 117,763 spectators. The fumble return proved to be a decisive factor in the game's outcome, highlighting the importance of defensive plays in determining the winner. |

It was one of those deeply unfortunate plays in which a player who just joined the team on one of those rare occasions wanted to show something special to the attending crowd, just to have it go sideways and turn awful in the blink of an eye. The whole squad feels for Shawn, as he already made a very good impression and does not deserve to be introduced to everyone by such a horrible mistake.
That taken aside: Man, that was one hell of a game that we played against Bergen. Geez. I would never have thought that we would be able to play along with them. But an L is an L is an L, and that's 4 out of 5 of them now... sometime soon we should turn these games into a W, just for kicks ![]() ![]() |

😅😅 He definitely felt the pressure going up against his old club!
![]() Arnesen has made his debut incredible so far; glad the decision is already paying dividends. He's the QB of the Future and has a big future at that! Last edited on 2025-07-12 23:01:52 by gp-Rurik |

SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK
dERBENT CONVICTS @ Northern Storm is one of the newer, yet exciting rivalries in the NC South. Given the stats, Storm seems to have a slight edge over the CONVICTS due to their stronger performance in passing, rushing, pass defense, and rush defense. However, the prediction mentions it's a close game for both, which suggests that dERBENT might still pose a challenge. Considering the ELO ratings (610 for Derbent Convicts vs 635 for Northern Storm), I'd predict Northern Storm to win with a narrow margin. Result Prediction: Northern Storm wins with a score of 24-17 |

The above seems to be fake news. Last edited on 2025-07-14 23:55:20 by Stabler12 |

Moin Moin, Yes, but... it's summer (except for the Manta Rays from Australia) and even in the Sea Devils Forum there is not much going on. It's summer. From September ot October on everybody sits at home checking RZA once an hour for a new forum post but now it's summer. This is not my only game and everywhere it's calm in the summer. Someone like you is allways welcome in the SD Region. The NC is full, so it won't be easy to build a rivalry with SDR or any other team in the NC. You will join the AC. This is perfect. Everyone in the SDWG (Sea Devils Writers Guild) lives in the NC. We know every team and manager and what to write about them. The AC is diffrent. There are the teams who joined us 1.5 seasons ago. This conference still needs to find itself. This will be your part. Your job will be to tell us what's up in the AC. You could start today allthough you'll join us at the season rollover. |
